However, Pedro Fulana of Cadena Serna whom Atleti does not expect Barrios to be absent for more than a week, which means that he should be available to start in the Liga opener.
It is a relief for Atleti that Barrios’ injury is not serious, given its importance for Simeone. It will be managed in the coming days, but unless everything be revealed, it should be good to face Espanyol.
