According to his social media, the double Olympic medalist of the Olympic 100m Fred Kerley will miss the outdoor championships Toyota USA of this week.
“The 100m should be a right sprint,” was published on Kerley’s accounts. “2025 has presented many obstacles. Take a little time to get back on the right track. No USATF champions this year. Thank you to all my supporters.”

Kerley, 30, won the Olympic 100 m in Tokyo and bronze in Paris. Between the two, he won the world title of the 100m in 2022, extending over 9.77 and 9.76 seconds in the semi-finals and final.
It took three years until another Sprinter takes place faster – last month of Jamaican Kishane Thompson, the best moment in the world in a decade.
The first three of the 100m final on Friday in Nationals in Eugene, Oregon, are online to make the team for the September world championships.
They would join Noah Lyles, who has a Bye in the team as a reigning world champion and should race on 200m only at the national championships.
The entries of the 100m male for nationals include the double Olympic silver medalist in 200m Kenny Bednarek, the 2019 world champion Christian Coleman and the double bronze medalist Trayvon Bromell.
